In total, there are approx. 160 registered associations in Vännäs municipality's association register. They work for an extensive and varied range of activities such as cultural and music associations, sports clubs, village associations and more.

There is a wide range of leisure activities to suit all ages and interests. Here you can, for example, enjoy outdoor life with hiking, fishing, horseback riding and skiing in the beautiful nature. Fritidsbanken is like a library, but for equipment. It is based on the idea of reuse and promoting active leisure time. There, both children and adults can borrow different kinds of equipment for sports and outdoor life.
